We are very pleased to announce that Rainspa is launching its first ever l’Opération Boîte à Chaussures de Montréal / The shoebox project Montreal and you’re invited to join the cause.
The non-profit initiative collects shoeboxes filled with goods, to be distributed to women’s shelters for the holidays.
Reach out to family and friends to help donate a shoebox with new goods valuing approximately $50. Of course, we’ll also accept bundles with less than a $50 value and shoeboxes are not mandatory. If you do hand in a box, feel free to decorate it but please don’t pack it as all goods donated need to be inspected.
Here’s a list of suggested gifts: hand or body lotion, makeup—mascara, lipstick, nail polish, etc. (please avoid foundation and concealer), toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, chocolate, cookies, candy, mittens, hats, scarfs, perfume, hairbrushes, combs, transit passes, calling cards, gift cards with receipt (McDonalds, Tim Hortons, Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart, etc.)
Please drop off your donations by November 30th at Rainspa in the Place d’Armes Hôtel & Suites at 55, rue Saint-Jacques, Old Montreal.
